In Poda protected area 161 lower plants and 231 higher has been recorded. Because of different structures (dunes, wetlands, dry lawn …) you can find a very diverse flora.

Recent investigations have proved the existence of Chenopodium botryoides (a new species for Bulgaria) and Ranunculus sphaerospermus (first proof for Bulgarian Black sea coast).
